A walnut log, his favourite wood, a plasticine pattern, some chisel shots for the rough-shaping and a new creation is about to take form. Siro Viérin, tireless artist, can spend even 12 hours on end in his workshop, just following the push of imagination and inspiration of the moment. He certainly is an instinctive, a new realist, and in his sculptures he loves telling the simplicity of pastoral life, the popular and religious traditions, the everyday life actions.
